Elizabeth Ann...

Oh, sweet Elizabeth Ann! Its true, ya know, what they say about the third kid and lack of picture taking...BUT thank goodness for the iPhone! Elizabeth is quickly approaching eight months old and I cannot wrap my head around that! This lil' (well, not so lil') peanut is a ray of light when she smiles. She just melts my heart. BUT oh my goodness SHE. IS. A. HANDFUL! (I am going to start a support group for mothers of acid reflux/incredibly high maintenance babies!) She is teaching me all sorts of things about myself! And I'm looking forward to some hopefully easier toddler years. (Don't count on it, I know...) But I don't want to wish away these precious baby months either. There are so many truly WONDERFUL moments with Baby Beth! And I LOVE THIS BABY!!!!
Here is some "pics" from the last couple months...

Abbi made her a little crown out of paper...She was happy to wear it.

First time trying out her new chair....she wasn't sure at first. Now she likes it because its where she EATS!

BIG bow to go with those BIG cheeks!

See..told ya!

Its barely hanging on but LOOK, a clippy in her hair!

Yep, she really is THAT chunky...
(23 pounds at 6 months...off the charts...)

Daddy- Daughter Dance III

I can't believe this is the 3rd year Olivia and her Dad have gone to the Annual Daddy-Daughter dance! This kid is growing up before our very eyes and I don't like it one bit! Ok, she's an amazing kid and I guess she can grow up a little...I just wish she'd slow down! As always they had a great time at the dance and Abbi, Beth, and I had a great time having a little par-tay at home!

Happy New Year!

For New Years Eve DuVall and I (and Beth) went out with some friends and I tried Sushi for the first time! AND....I didn't like it. At all. I tried, really I did, because I wanted so badly to like it. But I almost couldn't keep it down. I guess I'm just not a fish person. Grams watched the girls while we were out (Thanks Grams!) and we came home in time to ring in the New Year with our kiddies! (East Coast New Years of course!) The girls felt that we all needed to wear hats so they found a couple of their own for themselves and then because DuVall, baby, and I didn't have hats they made us some! How nice! :) Not sure why we needed hats but we sure had fun! And of course we made lots of noise, with our pots and pans, when the ball dropped. Another great New Year with our beautiful girls!

Happy New Year from the Laws Girls!

Bicycles and socks...

So, Abbi finally learned to ride a bike! (Meaning, mom and dad finally had a moment to take her outside and ride!) It only took a second for her to get the hang of it and I'm sure it won't be long before the training wheels come off. Olivia of course was there for moral support and safety patrol. Seriously, every little sister should be so lucky to have a big sister like Livi. And Abbi makes one heck of a lil sister as well. But I digress....
Here is Abbi and her first ride on the bike. AND pa-lease notice the awesome outfit and choice of socks my child had on this particular day. Let's just say this is a pretty good matching outfit for Abigail and her socks....thats just so her. And its not that she doesn't care, she totally does! Her taste is just VERY unique. And as long as her choices are modest its a battle I've chosen not to engage in. Let them be little.....right?! :)

the first days after christmas...

a little being dang darn cute...

a little baby torture, i mean, trying to get cute pictures.....
(she wasn't interested)
...and walks to the park with grandpa and the dogs!
...heaven on earth...

Christmas morning....

I love it when Christmas is on a Sunday! I have to be honest I was really having a hard time feeling the spirit of the season...until I went to church Christmas Day. My Mom and Dad were in charge of the Christmas Program so of course it was fantastic. It was all I needed to really feel the true spirit of Christmas and be reminded of why and what we celebrate that time of year.
We spent Christmas this year at my parents house and my whole family was there. The older we get those opportunities become few and far between so I was grateful to all be together!
