Its Carvin' Time!

This was the very first year that we carved pumpkins with the kids! (I know, mother of the year right here!) We had a great time and the kids experienced pumpkin guts for the first time. Poor Abbi literally gagged and then cried because she gagged. Not a big fan of the pumpkin guts. It was actually kind of heartbreaking. Livi gagged as well, but laughed afterwards. They did, however, love drawing out their own designs on the pumpkin. Then mom and dad carved them.
Maybe next year we'll add a good fall meal and maybe some friends to our new pumpkin carving tradition!

Thats right, don't mess. (kinda freaky, huh?)

Grannie came to town!

What a fun treat to have Grannie come for a visit! And on her birthday no less!
So fun to have Aunt Lauri here as well! We sure love and miss these two amazing women so any chance we get to see them is extra special.

(Of course I didn't get any pics with Grannie and her newest grandchild! Sheesh, next time!)

Thank goodness for camera phones...

This little peanut is growing too fast!
Yesterday she had her two month check up, which means SHOTS. Its always hard to see your baby cry, but I discovered its even harder to see your four year old cry because your baby is crying. Abbi was so concerned about her baby sister getting shots she couldn't hold back the tears. And after the nurse left the room Abbi demanded that she hold her and help make her feel better. It was so sweet and heartbreaking.
Baby Beth is, not surprisingly, following the trend her sisters did...
90% for weight at 12lbs 2 oz
25-50% for height
It will be fun to see if she's a shorter like Abbi or taller like Livi. For now she is just as squishy and cuddly as ever. And I still can't get enough of her!

Here's the latest from my iPhone...
