Please don't go...!

What a fun week we've had!!! Reed, Kierstin, and their three little munchkins were here for a visit and we just played, and played, and played all week long. I seriously thought I would cry when they left. (Really!) I miss being around family, having little cousins for my kids to play with, someone else to talk to.... Anyway, we had a great week and we miss them already!

House hunting is not for the impatient.

Just having a little fun before bedtime! 

Much like the dog (see a few posts ago), "spoiled" may be an understatement for us as well! 

 I thought it was hilarious that Livi put her swimsuit on backwards. The straps covered just enough. 

For the birds...

These little critters found their way inside after our front door was left open while we were out for a good three hours last week. (I will not point any fingers but it was NOT DuVall, or Olivia, or me.) Olivia and I tried for at least two hours to get them to leave the house. We were very creative, and although I was stressed about these cute, but horribly foul, creatures in my mother's beautiful house, we did laugh a lot. At one point Olivia told me I was crazy. Nothing I didn't already know! We watched them fly into the same windows over and over and over again. It really brought new meaning to the the phrase "bird brain". 

Then our hero came home. DuVall had them out of the house within minutes. Nothing a little pool net and ladder can't fix.   

San Diego Living...

DuVall's cousin Mont and his wife Terri came for a visit! We had such a great time, we were sad to see them go! Here they are at La Jolla Cove checking out the seals.
