Our big Utah/Idaho trip....Part 1

We had such a wonderful trip! We spent a few days as a family in Utah, then went up to Idaho for the Laws Family reunion, then DuVall went home to go back to work :(, and I stayed for another ten days in Provo with girls. It was a blast and we were able to do so many wonderful things...I miss Utah so much! Its such a beautiful place!

Started our trip off with a visit to Emma's grave...
Its a happy place, a place where I feel so much peace, and a place I have a hard time leaving when its time to go. I know its only her body at rest there, but I feel more complete when we are ALL there together. Its healing to my heart. It is a special place for us.

Then we hiked Bridal Vail Falls...beautiful, clean, cold water...
Gorgeous!!!!

Then...more hiking! We took the girls up to the Timp Caves, which was quite a hike for little girls! (Or big ones!) Jodi and Jerry came with us and we had a fantastic time! We sure love our Auntie Jodi and Uncle Jerry! What an awesome day! (And the girls did amazing!)

Don't they look alike!?

Our cave tour guide...

Jerry caught this adorable pic of Abbi after we came out of the cave. She was a bit tired...

Then of course, Livi needed one too. ;)

Inside the cave...

Look at these two...still so cute after all these years....(not that you're old or anything!!!)

Baby Beth carried this rock the whole way down the mountain. It was like her little pet, she wouldn't let it go! Until we reached the bottom, then she let it go like it was nothin'.
Funny girl!

A big ol' greasy dinner at the Purple Turtle afterward finished off an amazing day!
