What a fun night...

It was one of those nights where I just wanted to be a kid again! The company DuVall works for rented out our local Family Fun Center for a night and we had a blast! All the girls have talked about this morning are water slides and horsey rides. And I've decided there is just nothing better than watching your kids having a truly wonderful time.

(And the fact that is was free was also pretty awesome.)

A Visit to the Mormon Battalion Center...

This past week we made our way down to old town San Diego, along with some of our very favorite people, to visit the church's Mormon Battalion Visitors Center. It was great! I was really impressed (they have completely remodeled/updated it) and the kids loved it. It's a very cool experience and I would highly recommend a visit!

Just some random happenings...

Olivia grew this sunflower from a tiny seed she sprouted at school. She watered it everyday and took great care of it until it was almost as tall as her.

Painting in the morning hours, still in our jammies....

Our first summer beach day....left our house with temps in the 90's, got to the beach where it was in the 60's and cloudy. BUT, it was still a great day.
